I went to make chocolate chip cookies and discovered i was out of brown sugar, so i went on a recipe search and found this. These were fantastic cookies, without a doubt. How do you make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Either variety will work fine in this recipe.
They spread as they melt 1 teaspoon baking soda. Light brown sugar will produce a slightly paler cookie. I guess you could even do white, but don't offer me any. First of all this recipe perfectly combines the magic ratio of brown to white sugar.
